Ainesh Mohan of LDQ was the Quizmaster for the Mythology Quiz held on 24th October at AB3.
Because he always wanted to host a Mythology Quiz, given his interest in the subject, he had tediously worked upon the details for this event.
Capturing the very essence of the subject, the prelims ranged from Pokemons having a South Asian connection to Manipal’s Bacchus funda.
During the event, teams whispered answers amongst themselves, trying their best not to share anything with other contestants.
Even if one was unaware of specific trivia, the answers were deducible from the hints provided in the questions.
From first-year newbies to fourth-year aficionados, the room was filled with a diverse crowd.
Going forward, six teams qualified for the finals.
Hints in the final round were trickier, often wrapped in clever wordplay.
Interest peaked as teams got to the pounce-only round.
Joy and anticipation filled the room as the final scores were being tallied.
Knowledge, composure, and teamwork ultimately determined the winner.
Loud cheers erupted as the results were announced.
Minutes later, Team ‘Win or Lun<3’ emerged victorious, proving their prowess on the subject.
