The Weight Of A Thousand Feathers
ByAshirbad Ota
•1 min readDid you have to go?
Gone too soon!
Now I stand here.
On me, is the weight of a thousand feathers.
I stood silent sometimes,
I didn't speak
It didn't matter, at that time
Now it all appears too bleak.
I wait for you, and for me to be free
A hundred rains, the wait of a hundred weathers
With the weight of a thousand feathers, now I cry
With it all on me now,
How will you know ?
Too far you are, too far to
see
Release me from the grief,
Pull me out of the nethers
Alas, on me is a weight of thousand feathers. Uncountable unsaid words,
So much left unconfessed,
With all I shall remain here
A burden with a million tethers.
This is mine.
This is what you left me with.
The weight of thousand feathers.
