Through The Eyes Of A Child

To see things through the eyes of a child
With simplicity, with innocence, with nothing to hide.
No space for hate, no space for dislike,
just open hearts and arms spread wide.
Deeply feeling the sunshine and the moon light,
Getting overjoyed at rainbows, at seeing aeroplanes fly.
Dancing in the rain, making paper boats,
Living every moment to the most.
It would be as if one were wearing rose-coloured glasses,
Seeing the good in every moment that passes.
Keeping things simple, keeping things real,
Cherishing every small moment as though it is a big deal.
Twinkling eyes like stars in the night sky,
Filled with enthusiasm, dreams and hopes so high.
Look, look at the world like you did when you were a child,
Stop that overthinking from overdrive.
Look at the world like you did when you were a child,
No fear, no hate, just love and light.
