MIT Manipal has 23 hostel blocks in total — 22 numbered blocks plus the Regency (Block 23). Blocks are designated separately for boys and girls, with AC and Non-AC options and room types ranging from single occupancy to dormitory. All hostels are on-campus, within walking distance of the academic blocks.
Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 21, and 22 are designated for female students.
Blocks 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and Regency are for male students.
One student per room with attached or common bathroom. Available in select blocks at higher cost.
Two students share a room. Most common type at MIT Manipal. AC and Non-AC available.
Three students per room. Most economical option. Common in blocks 5–8.
Air-conditioned rooms available in select blocks. Significantly higher hostel fees apply.
Standard rooms without AC. The Manipal climate is bearable without AC for most of the year.
Premium hostel offering higher-quality amenities, typically fully AC. Popular with international students.
